Virtue in Modern Smart World.

Abstract

The question of the role of university and virtue is very actual in modern smart world. The university patterns have exchanged today. The patterns of university of intellect and of university of culture have displaced university of perfection ( quality). The culture capital have replaced balance calculation, national identity replaced money. Virtue, morality and national value can defend the world from catastrophe. In the article considered the philosophical concept of the organization of universities, succession to or destruction of traditions. University in the paradigm of Kant – Humboldt. The idealistic model – line Platon – Gegel. Realism as a line of Aristotle – Dj.Lokk, F. Becon. A pragmatic approach recognizes two truths – relative and democratic progress. Existentialisme – individual choice and personal freedom. The humanistic concept of upbringing for the sake of humanity. The author considering the approach of B. Ridings «University in ruins». The transformation of the University in the countries of the Commonwealth of independent States is held the last 15-20 years. The author critically evaluates and forewarns the negative features of globalization in the altered universities. Conducts parallel with social reproduction theory.
