Abstract

In article research of scientists who defined types is considered forms, functions the principles of self-education of future teachers. Ability to self-education is the teacher’s intellectual indicator. Characterizing selfeducation as a cognitive activity and cognitive process, researchers speak about its different types. Self-education of students in higher education institution – is a voluntary kind of activity, in which especially is clearly look through the motivation, readiness for self-education of future teachers. Self-education – purposeful independent activity of future teacher of effective acquisition of psychology and pedagogical and methodical knowledge.
