The article considers the importance of interdisciplinary paradigm and interdisciplinary approach in the educational process of higher education. Interdisciplinary educational process of higher educational institution is a rallying point for teachers, which provides continuity and integrity of the learning interaction with the substantive and procedural components of the involved disciplines. Evolving in line with the overall process of integration in education, interdisciplinary paradigm is not contrary to the fundamentalprovisions of the basic competence concept of the present stage of higher education development. Designing of educational process in the format of the competency approach to the interdisciplinary relations, the formation of specialist’s professional competences may be realized not only by one, but by several disciplines of basic educational program’s working curricula.Modern education requires the development of core competencies
as a way of training demanded specialists.
