Abstract

In the State programme of education development of the Republic of Kazakhstan (RK) for 2011-2020 given the task of improvement of management in education. Corporate governance was developed in the last decade, in spite of the fact that corporate relations in the countries with developed economies exist for a long time. Practical experience shows that the lack of strong managerial and progressive technologies of management entails the weakness of the strategic planning and the ineffectiveness of the operational management. The question arises that requires systematic research: what should be the principles, conditions and mechanisms that improve the efficiency of University management in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Kazakhstan practice of corporate management in higher educational institutions has found its development of relatively recently. This is due, on the one hand, the need for evidence-based approaches to the implementation of the methodology and mechanisms of implementation of principles of corporate management in higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan in conditions of modernization of highereducation, and on the otherlack of practice of application of these principles in the activities of universities of Republic of Kazakhstan. In addition, there is an objective need for managers having knowledge of the specifics of the educational activity at the University. Many higher educational institutions of Kazakhstan today in need of specialists with managerial skills. The analysis of the theory allowed to reveal an interdisciplinary approach to the topic. Identified classical mechanisms of management of higher education – organizational-administrative, on legal, economic, social, training, developing, creative, cultural, and innovative. Management of higher education in modern conditions implies the control of the University taking into account the conditions of the market environment. As is known, the organization for economic cooperation and development, in which today includes the 30 most developed countries of the world, were approved by the «corporate governance Principles». The introduction of the principles of corporate management in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan will contribute to the transition from state to state and public management and the transparency of the activities of universities. The article consists of: introduction, subsections «Interdisciplinary approach of education management and corporate governance», «Kazakhstan's practice of corporate governance of education», and conclusion.
