Abstract

The article is an overview of the historical theory of University education from the methodological point of view. Also described the scope of the ideas of Yan Amos Kamenskiy on the system of school and University education. Proposed concept of European scientists, who took a special place in the history of University education, including views on University education in the works of English educator John Locke, the French enlightenment philosopher Jean-Jacques Rousseau, the Clan Adrlin Helvetia, Francois Marie Arouet Voltaire, Denis Diderot, German philosophers Immanuel Kant and Johann Gottlieb Fichte. Comparative characteristics of the research model Wilhelm Humboldt and model of the University who are the founders of classical University, describes their manifestation in the practice of higher education institutions. Considered liberal-humanistic idea of Max Weber. On the basis of generalization and a new look on the model of the research University of H. Ortega-Cassett and Karl Jaspers, are concepts that infl uence the development of University education. In this paper the comparative analysis of modern University education and University education the Soviet times. See the system requirements for applicants and the quality of University education in the era of globalization. The described feature «humanistic paradigm» in the system of University education
