Abstract

This article is devoted to the consideration of the mechanisms, principles and objectives of the implementation that higher educational institutions challenge in the process of modernization. The author describes the experience of Kazakh Ablai khan University of International relations and world languages on the development and implementation of educational programs within the framework of the State Program for the Development of Education in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
With this regard, the methodological and technological improvement of the educational process as well as its close interrelationship with the modern achievements of science and technology predetermine the university requirements for the implementation and provision of international standards, accessibility of the potential of universities to all partner universities, and curricula updates on new requirements by providing the tasks which have applicative, implementable features. The author illustrates it with the example of the specialty “Journalism” as well as the development of various professional and educational profile programs (specializations) on the basic specialties of the university.
