Formation of geoecological competencies of students of educational programs «tourism»

Increasing the educational needs of students of higher educational institutions and ensuring high-quality training of specialists in the system of professional education is a modern requirement. The formation of competencies allows us to modernize the content of education and apply competencies in practice, solve self-fulfilling educational and professional tasks. Therefore, it is very important to update the demand for education among students and ensure a high quality of training of specialists in the system of professional education. Since the leading direction of modern research is the problems of resource provision and rational use of the geosystem, the problems of optimization and connection of industrial and natural complexes, the basics of natural and technical Geosystems and geoecology will become the basis for the formation of geoecological competencies of students of the educational program "Tourism".
This article presents the results of a study aimed at the formation of geoecological competencies of students of educational programs "tourism" in higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Also, a structural model was developed that allows students to form geoecological competencies, and conclusions were drawn to improve students ' knowledge. The structural model was built on the basis of methods of analysis, generalization, concretization of the main professional competencies proposed by Khutorskoy and Zimnyaya, and the effectiveness of their use in geoecology was determined. The results obtained are reflected in the form of an independent structural model of the formation of geoecological competence and pedagogical technology of teaching the discipline "Geoecology and tourism". As a result of the study, it was found that the developed model of geoecological competence – allows you to see, feel, understand and orient yourself in the sphere of value and worldview associated with geoecology.
