Abstract

The relevance of the research topic lies in the fact that the problem of constructing a cross section of polyhedrons is widely used in architecture and construction, mechanical engineering, cartography and in many other fields of science and technology. In this article, it is established that when solving problems involving plotting flat sections of a polyhedron, students perform assignments; apply axioms and geometric properties; form and develop spatial representations; and develop divergent and algorithmic thinking, the ability to reason logically, and the ability to make the right arguments and inferences. The paper presents the simplest construction tasks, which is the basis for the study of this work. The designed tasks allow the formation and development of divergent and algorithmic thinking, spatial representations.

The existing system of content components of the future teacher's readiness for the system of content components of the readiness of the future mathematics teacher to teach schoolchildren methods of constructing sections of polygons has been adapted. The stages of the formation of the readiness of future mathematics teachers to teach schoolchildren how to construct flat sections of polyhedron are revealed. A model of the process of forming the professional readiness of future mathematics teachers in teaching schoolchildren how to construct flat sections of polyhedrons, the development of their thinking abilities, spatial representations, divergent thinking as an integral system has been built. In the experimental and pedagogical work on approbation of the model, 31 students took part - the future teacher in mathematics of the Zhetysu State University named after I. Zhansugurova.

Keywords: stages of the learning process, components of readiness, divergent thinking, spatial representation, cross-section of polyhedron
