Abstract

The general tendency of development of modern society such is that creative, research search becomes an integral part of any expert, in particular and the master of science. Article is devoted to a problem of use of a method of modeling in research preparation of masters. In contents of article the essence of the concepts “model” and “modelling” reveals. The model is meant as the sign system displaying any object. It can get a form of the scheme, the model, the schedule, a matrix of indicators and to exist in the form of real object which in that case becomes similarity of other (modelled) object. Modeling helps to reproduce integrity of studied object, its structure, functioning, to keep this integrity at all investigation phases. Process of creation of model rather labor-consuming, in this regard in article types of models, stages and features of modeling are considered. The practical value of model in any pedagogical research generally is defined by its adequacy to the studied parties of object, and also that, the basic principles of modeling – presentation, definiteness, objectivity which in many respects define both opportunities and model type, and its functions in pedagogical research are how correctly considered at stages of creation of model. On the example of development of structural, dynamic and substantial model by the author recommendations to young researchers are made. Also with the author it is emphasized that wide use of modeling in research preparation can be explained and that with its help it is possible to resolve many pedagogical issues connected with qualitative and quantitative characteristics of process of training. Functional completeness of knowledge acquired by undergraduates is defined both subject, and a methodological component. Modeling as reflection of external visible properties of subjects and the phenomena and also as process of creation of idealized objects, allows to track dynamics of development of analytical, reflexive, cognitive and creative skills of the researcher.
