Abstract

The article discusses new opportunities analyzing and interpreting a literary text for students. The object of the study is the poem “Tiger” by English poet William Blake included in the updated literature program. The focus is on the analysis of methodological materials, dedicated to the creativity of the English romantic poet, which are used by teachers of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools at the lessons. In the article described functions of teaching methods used at the lessons and opportunities of the project method. Executing the project method at the extracurricular time allows the learner to develop creative skills and gain new knowledge. Analysis of the content of the mini-projects performed by the learners gives reason to assume the productivity of this methodical technology, applied by teachers of literature Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools.
